The short guide to getting started in the swinger universe

Have you been thinking about getting into the swinger scene, but have no idea how to get started? Read our guide here and get some advice

Before your visit

1. Find out which and if there are any swinger clubs near where you live. If you live close to a club, it's a good idea to go to one that's a bit further away, to save you from the "I-hope-I-don't-meet-anyone-I-know" thoughts.
   
2. Check out the club's website and check out the pictures of the club. Some clubs have a chat page where you can create a user and then chat with others in the environment - it's worth using this function, as there are many who are happy to help new faces at their first time at the club.
   
3. The club website will often state when they have a tour - tours are usually with clothes on and with other newcomers.
   
4. REMEMBER!
   - It's better to regret something you didn't do. than to overstep boundaries you may later regret. You can always come back the next day and do what you didn't get to do.
   - AND: A no is a no. People should ask before they touch you, and it's your responsibility to say no if you don't want to be touched.
   
5. It can be a good idea to consider what name you want to use if people ask you. Most use their profile names, because then can find each other more easily on the club website, but others also say their real names.

For your first visit

1. There is always someone to greet you at clubs, tell the hosts/hostesses that you are new - whether you go on the tour or not. Because then they will keep an extra eye on you.
   
2. Attire: the most important thing is that you wear something that makes you feel comfortable and sexy. Whether it's a just a garter belt, a provocative dress or a kimono doesn't matter. A small golden rule is that you can wear anything that is usually a little too naughty or kinky to wear in other social settings.
   
3. It can be seen from a distance that you are new, so be open about it to the others in the club and try to relax, even though it can be difficult with so many naked bodies around you. If people know you're new, they'll take that into account a bit more too.
   
4. If you're not sure if you want to do something naughty, you'd better wait, because the chance will come again!
