The Sex Magazine is a feminist graphic short story that deals with all the juicy topics; sex, shame, hyper femininity and the male gaze.
Sofie Riise Nors made her debut with the magazine in May of 2021 at the publishing house COBOLT and through Sofie's PR strategy, she uses her own erotic capital and her own body as an advertising pillar to focus on the magazine's message. @waginapinapple is Sofie's norm-critical and feminist meme profile on Instagram and in addition she is also an illustrator, satirist and lecturer.
The magazine discusses both the feminist generational differences, why Bratz is so cool and why the female body can be seen as a weapon against us. A magazine that both educates you on crucial topics and at the same time explores and entertains in its aesthetic comic book format.
